At the end of August, I remain committed to being debt free. I only closed one month for August, and it reminds me of when I closed my first loan back in December of 2023. It’s amazing the feeling of the 1st loan vs my 20th. I was excited to receive my first commission vs this current one. I know that this amount isn’t enough to support my family for a month. We’ve decided to try for one more child, so the pressure is even greater on me.
This month, I made sure that my wife’s credit cards were also carrying a zero balance. In my mind, unless you are self-lending, debt will always be a weapon. People call it a tool, but for me it is a weapon, and it will hurt you if it isn’t handled properly. Being debt free will free you from having to use it.
