As 2025 closes, I remember telling my wife that this year feels like 2020 the sequel. Unfortunately, in some ways I was right. My Mom has come to live with us, and I realize now that that decision wasn’t good for our family. Watching her decline due to dementia reminds me of how finite life is. Although being debt free is important, this path isn’t the only value of life. Being debt free is a means to an especially important end. There is so much going on in this life that you must ask yourself, are you aware of what is happening in your life and the world? This year I ended up producing more than my previous year, but I realize if I had a choice, then I would choose this: Retire my Bloodline. I’ve decided to not just focus on being debt free but also focus on an investment that could potentially do just that. Time will tell. Does investing play into your debt free plan?
