I do not like the month of November. I remember my grandmother dying in November back in roughly 1985. I remember my Dad not being able to have Thanksgiving with us in 2019 because he was undergoing chemotherapy, and so both sides of our family were unable to be together. This month, we found that Sasha was diagnosed with cancer…. Jill’s grandfather ended up passing away and I found out through Facebook that my Uncle Bob on my Dad’s side also passed away. November is a time of thanksgiving, and it should be. But for me it’s a time of loss, which I hope will spur me to thankfulness for those that are still here. Evie had her first taste of turkey, and I am very thankful for the miracle of technology which gives me the opportunity to record and capture every moment. In that moment, I was happy that my Momma was able to spend it with us, because I know losing Dad is the hardest for her. It is hard to believe that this is the start of Thanksgivings without him. Unfortunately, Evie never got a chance to meet my Dad, PePe, or Uncle Bob on this side of Heaven. I believe in one day where we’ll see if there is life after this life. Around this time of year, we typically will pay the normal payments in preparation for holiday spending. With this being Evie’s first Christmas, we want it to be special. Death is inevitable, and it is important to prepare your loved ones for a life without you. Do you have a plan for a debt free life?
