My in-laws decided to sell their existing home and buy a new home and move into our subdivision. With the help of my nephew Jarvaris and Bob’s childhood friend Dennis we were able to move them into their new house. For me it feels like 2021 is a sequel to 2020 due to similar events happening again. Despite the similarities, I know Evie is here and every day with her makes life easier. A child really can make life better. I was so scared of holding her and changing her diaper, but I feel more and more comfortable with loving her. Although Sasha is no longer here, and I miss her a lot, life with Evie and watching her grow helps ease the pain. Even though my Dad is no longer here, every moment with Evie helps my Mom and me. When I think of them both, I grieve and let myself express the loss. I know there is something greater that is close to me when I am vulnerable.
I love being able to take photos and videos of Evie. She is so funny and sweet. Jill and I can’t believe she’s here, and for me I want to get out of debt even more. I would love to see a life with all debt except the house paid and then beyond that a life where Evie goes to college knowing her parents have no debt. Seeing the Navient paid down so far continues to push me further. Can your children be debt free?
