At the end of January, I’m glad that 2020 is gone and that 2021 has begun. I feel like this year must be better than last year. Mentally and emotionally surviving the Pandemic, it cannot get worse. I can only imagine how other families have handled the loss of lives caused by this virus, and the mental anguish of being in isolation for so long. The work environment has changed for many companies, and I am still not used to seeing people walking around in public with masks and having to remember to have a mask with me when I go to certain public areas. I hadn’t been to church in quite some time, and I noticed that it has changed my overall attitude. Every 1st 21 days of the year for several years I fast off something to help me give the first of my year to the Lord. Most would consider this tradition old fashioned, but I think of it as well fashioned. We’ve begun attacking the Capital One car loan again, and at this pace, we should own our first car together before the end of this year. It’s possible to achieve this goal within the next few months. I wish Jill was as intense as I was about being debt free, but her journey is different than mine. As long as we are doing it together, then in the end that is what matters. I also have a plan/recipe that I can point her to if anything ever happens to me. I’m excited for what 2021 holds. What does your debt free journey look like?
