At the end of February, change is inevitable and at times very necessary. I met with my old roommate/friend after work for a few drinks, talked about old times, and talked about business. It was after that night that I made a commitment to change my habits. I feel like I’ve brought more problems into my marriage than my sweet wife has. In marriage there is a section of the vows where the pastor will say for better or worse. I feel like I’ve brought the worst almost from day one. It’s because of moments like these that I can change and better my self for the future of my family and me too. I’m closer to bringing the loan down to $5000.00 and continuing to work hard but I’m also at a crossroads in my career. I’m thankful for my two closest guy friends Joe and Davis for their friendship, insight, and just being able to be myself with them. They offer me a guy’s perspective that Jill can’t always provide. As you travel down a debt free road surround yourself with people who support you verbally. Words are power, and the right words make all the difference.
